Also, to help with motivation, I've signed the whole class up for Xtra Math... this is a web-based program/app that allows kids to practice their math facts frequently and quickly. My children use it at home and LOVE it. While it's not strategy based (like our fluency focuses are), it's still practice and it's FUN.
I sent home an informational sheet in everyone's backpack today. Please let me know if you have trouble signing in. We can trouble shoot together!
