I wanted to take a moment to say "thanks" for taking the time to come to conferences last night to meet with me. I had every single family in attendance... in all of my years of teaching that has never happened before!
I think it makes such a huge difference when we are in close communication with each other.
I also wanted you to know that we are starting a "gratitude" mini-unit this week. Over the next weeks leading up to Thanksgiving, we will spend a moment each day thinking of what fills our heart with thankfulness. Studies have shown that practicing gratitude can have a significantly positive impact on emotional wellbeing, for adults as well as for children. In our classroom, we are growing a "gratitude tree" full of thankful leaves.
Today, I'm thankful to be part of our BWS community. Thanks for sharing your kiddos!!
Sarah
