Supply list for incoming (2017/2018) second graders

Second Grade  (2017/18) J

Our classroom is set up much like first grade was, with tables and communal supply caddies instead of individual desks.  I have found that it is much easier to manage supplies in this way than it is for each student to have his or her own pencil box.  To that end, PLEASE DO NOT SEND individual pencil boxes.  If you would like to contribute to our communal classroom material supply, donations of the following are very much appreciated!

Pencils  *   Washable Markers   *  Colored Pencils   *  Crayons   Dry Erase Markers   *  Glue Sticks  *   Child Proof Scissors    Erasers (rectangular not pencil top)   *  Sharpies  *   Tissues

Also, please send the following for your own child to use:

*Earphones (these can be passed along from first grade)

*6 heavy duty two pocket folders (plastic is most durable)

*1 small (one inch) binder

*2 wide rule composition notebooks
