Welcome to Second Grade!

We've had a wonderful first few days together, and have been focusing on learning new routines, reviewing consistent rules, and diving in to our wonderful curriculum.

Students should be coming home every day with assignment notebooks tucked neatly into their mail folders.  Please check these every day, as homework will change often.  Sometimes, "homework" will be for students to teach you about something that they've learned in class that day.  I'll try to send home an informational sheet on those days, so that you know what they're talking about.  :)

THANK YOU to everyone who sent in donated supplies to our communal material caddies!  We are well stocked for a wonderful year of learning.

Upcoming days to remember:

Open House - Tuesday, September 12th - 6:30 - 7:30

Half Day for students - Friday, September 15th - 11:20 - dismissal

Full Day Inservice - October 6th  - No School for students

Columbus Day-October 9th-No School

BOC- Monday October 16th-please send children in outdoor clothes and with a bagged lunch
