What a difference a weekend makes... from seasonal and breezy to humid and uncomfortable. It was such a hot and sticky day in the classroom today! Our kids tried really hard under less than optimal learning conditions. Proud of them!
Please find in backpacks: A minilesson sheet for M-W of this week and a math paper to finish with adult support. Also, tiny topic notebooks should make their way home. These are spots to jot story ideas...they should be used as a "place holder" for ideas of meaningful moments that kids want to write about later. They're not doodle pads or a spot for writing actual stories.
Tomorrow we will have our first unit test in math... this was largely a review unit, and will allow me to see which skills I need to circle back to reteach. I'll be sending unit one math sheets home soon.
